All About Scuba Diving Certification in Belize

Onsite Scuba Diving Courses at Mahogany Bay Resort

Here at MBR, our dive shop offers a full range of PADI dive courses, educational programs, equipment selection, and excursion opportunities. The Open Water Certification course costs 487 USD per person. This course includes the academic portion, which can be done online at PADI.com, or you can go through the diver’s manual and complete the knowledge review section with our certified dive instructors. Then, you’ll be ready to discover scuba diving in a one-of-a-kind location!
Our top-notch PADI course also includes the practical portion—open water dives. You’ll embark on four dives with our experienced, certified divers. Additional dives are available if a student needs more time to get acquainted and comfortable in the water. This course is performance—there’s no need to rush!
The instructors here know all the best dive sites in the barrier reef, perfect for beginners. They’ll take you to shallow areas where the water is warm and filled with fascinating marine life.
Upon completing the open water certification course, the new diver will receive a temporary Open Water Card. PADI will mail the hard copy to their home address, which can take a few weeks.
